Mokaï is born in Nyeri, Kenya — one of Africa's highest-altitude and most respected growing regions. The SL-34 and SL-28 varieties, selected a century ago and now iconic in the specialty world, are processed using anaerobic natural fermentation to amplify their bright acidity into something more layered: crisp red apple, macadamia, green tea, grenadine, and a dark-chocolate base that ties it all together.

Best brewing methods:

Filter (V60, Kalita) — Bright acidity is the star. Water at 93 °C, ratio 1:16.

Espresso — Juicy and unusual profile. Recommended for curious palates.

Cold brew — Transforms the grenadine note into something almost cocktail-like.
